Connect an AI Assistant

Basepedia exposes an MCP server so AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor can read your encyclopedia data. Copy the server URL below, then follow the steps for your client.

  1. 1Open the profile menu (top-right) → Settings → Connectors.
  2. 2Click "Add custom connector".
  3. 3Give it a name (e.g. Basepedia) and paste the server URL below.
  4. 4Click "Add". The connector is now ready to use in your chats.

After we ship changes to the app, refresh your connector — assistants cache the tool list and need a reload to pick up new tools.
